Gaspaar receives an invitation from Leorna to take part in a great tournament. At this thaw in relations, Prince Derek and Prince Max are sent to lead a party of ten knights to Leorna to promote peace. About the author

I am a retired public-school teacher and thematic education camp designer and consultant. I have enjoyed developing interactive summer adventures for middle grade students including role play simulation immersions such as missions to Mars, exploring the deep sea, international detective academy, Arthur’s school for chivalry at Camelot, and the adventure of time travel. My love for writing has been a life-long passion and prior to this fantasy series has resulted in titles for adult genres including mystery and espionage/moral dilemma stories. Among my favorite pursuits, I have co-managed a monthly coffeehouse/listening room event for decades based in a church fellowship hall featuring nationally known singer/songwriters and poets as well as regional talents. I credit participation in the SCBWI (Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) for much of the professional discipline and camaraderie that have helped focus my vision in this particular writing adventure.
